March Food Drive

The March Food Drive Challenge is designed to assist the McLeod Emergency Food Shelf with efforts to feed the hungry in McLeod County. Local Chambers are sponsoring a friendly challenge with a goal of raising more than 100,000 pounds of donations during the month of March.

Donations collected during the month of March are matched by Minnesota Food Share Network, making this a critical time to restock the shelves at the local food shelf. Plato residents should bring their donations to the collection site at Plato Custom Concepts, 119 Main Street in Plato. Hours are 8:00 – 4:00 pm Monday – Friday.
